Martin Zahner, Associate Director for International Affairs, is currently on a recruitment mission at the prestigious Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in North Carolina. The partnership between this two schools was signed in 2011 GEM is one of only two schools in France to have a formal relationship with this prestigious American university. Since the partnership was signed the relationship between the two institutions has become stronger and stronger. GEM has has the pleasure of welcoming 4 MBA students from Duke on a Customized Executive Education Program centered around Biotechnology and Health Care and in January 2015, two more students from GEM will join the MBA program for a semester.
“Yesterday I had the chance to visit for the 3rd time the amazing campus of The Fuqua School of Business at Duke university” says Martin Zahner. “The reason of my stay at this top US partner institution was essentially the participation on their international study abroad fair. During that event the Fuqua MBA students try to get more information about potential exchange destinations all over the world. I had the pleasure to discuss with lots of these very high qualified young students who are now more and more interested to study for a while at Grenoble Ecole the Management in Grenoble itself, get in touch with our faculty, students and companies in the Grenoble area.
I also was impressed to see how our two first exchange students, Candice Baroux and Pauline Delubac, had been appreciated by the staff, the international department, faculty and students for their quality and knowledge. Our next students are already expected by the team.”
Research links between GEM and DUKE are also progressing. Bertrand Guilloton, Director of Internation Programs at the Fuqua School of Business has already co-written an incisive article with the Director of Research at GEM, Vincent Managematin for the Financial Times. The two business schools are also cooperating on a Trans-Atlantic research project with company CFOs to analyze current market trends.See also :
